1 operated internationally

Animals Asia rescued 13 Asiatic black bears and brought them to our Vietnam sanctuaries. Our vets performed 221 full-body health checks under anesthesia, including 23 major surgeries on our rescued bears. After years of working with animals in around 60 struggling shelters in China, we expanded our program to Vietnam. We provided 15 dogs at Vietnamese NGO, Forever Wheelchair, with new wheelchairs and helped Vietnamese cat and dog shelters affected by Typhoon Yagi. Our Dr Dog and Professor Paws therapy dogs shared their unconditional love with thousands of people in hospitals, elderly homes and schools in Hong Kong and 4 mainland Chinese cities. Millions of dogs and cats in China were saved from the meat trade as a result of our work to remove dogs from the country s official livestock list.A total of 28 zoos enrolled in our wild animal behavioural training workshop, with 47 participants, making it our largest offline zoo training yet.
